Short Tile, Extent And Commencement:
  1. Short Title, Extent and Commencement: (1) This Act may be cited as the “Births, Deaths and Other Personal Events (Registration) Act, 2033 (1976)”.
(2)        It shall extend to the whole of…………[1] Nepal.
(3)        Section 1 shall commence immediately and the other Sections shall commence on such date and in such area as the Government of Nepal may, by a notification in the Nepal Gazette, appoint.
